Maurice Welding was founded in 1959 by Maurice Gaudreau under the name Maurice Welding Shop Inc. In 1977 they expanded the business for the second time. Throughout the years Maurice and his team kept innovating and offering different quality services such as the fabrication and sales of parts, trailer fabrication, trailer repair, special orders, and steel sales. After 46 years of being a leader in the industry, Maurice decided it was time to retire and his son Dany Gaudreau took over ownership of the family business.
Dan has continued to innovate and expand services and products that Maurice Welding can offer customers throughout Northern Ontario.
In 2020, Maurice Welding expanded by opening the Kapuskasing facility. This facility allowed Maurice Welding to provide expanded welding, fabrication, trailer repairs and maintenance services in Northern Ontario.

All of our welders are certified under the Canadian Welding Bureau.
